Mother to Wangeci’s killer hopes the state will pardon him

Nancy the mother to Naftali Kinuthia, the man who killed Ivy Wangeci’ has hope that the son will be forgiven. Naftali is a suspect of murder after he hacked Ivy Wangeci, a Moi University medicine student to death in Eldoret.

The mother has revealed that her son is still struggling to come to terms with the reality of his act. According to her, the son even doesn’t believe he traveled all the way to Eldoret just to kill Wangeci.

When visited by his father, Naftali who is still admitted at Moi Teaching and referral Hospital,  told him (the father) he can’t believe he killed the student. 

Kinuthia’s mother is hoping that the state will pardon her son, because in her eyes, he is a harmless and polite man. She further confirmed that his is a recent graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agricukture and Technology (JKUAT).

The mother, who claims to have brought up Kinuthia with strong christtian values is yet to come to terms with the fact that her son could be a murderer. She says he is a harmless God fearing man and a regular church goer; no one would expect such an act of him.
