An early Monday morning accident on Thika Road claimed the lives of two people. The man and woman, who ere traveling from Nairobi towards Thika lost their lives on the superhighway when their car burst into flames following a tragic accident.
The two, a man, and a woman lost their lives when the male driver reportedly lost control and veered off the road. In a bid to take control of the car, the driver hit a trailer that was ahead of them. Consequently, their car caught fire, burning them up beyond any recognition.
Juja City mall
The accident happened on the superhighway stretch near Juja City Mall on Easter Monday morning.
Their bodies were taken to General Kago Mortuary at Thika Level Five Hospital for preservation.
Even though there has been increased road surveillance and calls for sanity on the road, the Easter weekend has not spared lives. Reports from gov’t authorities indicate that 100 people have lost their lives on Kenyans roads over the four day Easter weekend.
