Busia County Ward Managers form a Welfare Caucus

Busia County  Ward Managers last week formed a Caucus to help articulate their welfare issues with  the County Government. Six  officials were elected to carry the tasks which will also include  working together with Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong  to realize  the county’s  development.

Eric Odundo from  Nambale was elected  chairman  in the elections presided over by Isaac  Joya  of “IEBC”.  Charles Opagala from Teso North  was elected vice chair. Chrispus Maloba from Bunyala   is the new secretary with  Paul Odhiambo from Butula deputizing him. The new treasurer  is   Patrick Tanga from Teso South.
Namboboto Nambuku ward  manager in Samia,  Benjamin  Wafula is the new organizing secretary  with Pius  Juma from Matayos  as deputy organizing secretary.

In his maiden speech, Odundo  said  they will  want to emulate County Executive Committee members by  electing national officials  to represent their members countrywide. He said they had also formed a WhatsApp group  to help share  information with their members.
